LALA SHEVKET EXPRESSED HER CONDOLENCES TO THE POLISH NATION
Leader of Azerbaijan Liberal Party Prof. Dr. Lala Shevket has sent a letter of condelences to the Ambassador of Poland to Azerbaijan. The letter says:

With the greatest shock and sorrow we have learned about the most terrible tragedy involving the death of the President of Poland Lech Kaczynski, his spouse and the members of the accompanying delegation in the catastrophic plane crash over Smolensk. The news terrified us and went down to the very soul. From the bottom of my heart I would like to express to You and in Your person the People of Poland my deepest and sincere condolences.
The tragic death of Lech Kaczynski is a saddest moment not only for the People of Poland, but for all the free-thinking democrats around the world, for the efforts of Lech Kaczynski in advancement of democracy can never be overestimated, especially among the nations of the Eastern Europe, which have only recently thrown off the shackles of totalitarianism.
I want to assure You that we all are deeply aggrieved by the pain suffered by the Polish Nation.
We pray for the souls of the deceased.
May the Almighty God rest their souls in heaven!
