EU DELEGATION MET WITH AZERBAIJANI OPPOSITION

On March 2 the Delegation of the European Union headed by the Foreign Minister of Spain Miguel Angel Moratinos has met with the leaders of Azerbaijani opposition - Leader of Azerbaijan Liberal Party Lala Shevket, Chairman of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Ali Kerimli and President of the Public Forum "For Azerbaijan" Eldar Namazov. A wide range of issues has been discussed during the meeting, including the political situation in Azerbaijan, the forthcoming Parliamentary elections and the fate of political prisoners.
